Featured: The Blue Line
The metro's biggest project is the new Blue Line — about 30 km and 14 stations, with an opening target of 9 September 2029. It will connect fast-growing eastern communities such as Dubai Creek Harbour, Silicon Oasis and Academic City to the existing network.
Station Naming Updates
Several stations have taken on new commercial names in recent years — for example Al Garhoud, Al Fardan Exchange, National Paints, Sobha Realty, Equiti and Life Pharmacy. Our station pages use the current names; older maps may still show the previous ones.
