How much does the Dubai Metro cost?

What is a Nol card and which one do I need?

Nol is the rechargeable transport card. Most tourists use Silver; Gold for the premium cabin; Red Ticket for occasional trips.

How many lines and stations are there?

Does the metro go to the airport?

Yes — the Red Line serves DXB Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 directly.

Where do the lines interchange?

At Union and BurJuman.

Is the metro wheelchair accessible?

Yes — lifts, escalators and dedicated wheelchair spaces are provided throughout.

Can children travel free?

Children aged 5 and under travel free; People of Determination travel free with the right Nol card.

How often do trains run?

Every 2–4 minutes at peak times and 5–7 minutes off-peak.
